Refund policy

REFUND AND RETURN POLICY

This policy applies to professional (B2B) purchases of vintage and second-hand clothing lots. As these are second-hand products, the buyer accepts that garments may show signs of wear consistent with this category.

1) Mandatory inspection upon receiving the order

In the event of any issue, the customer must:

  • Inspect the contents as soon as possible after delivery.

  • Separate garments with a possible issue.

  • Do not wash, repair, iron, relabel, or resell any garments with an issue before validation (any handling may void the claim).

2) What is considered a valid issue

An issue will be considered valid when there is:

  • A significant defect not compatible with the advertised grade/quality, which prevents reasonable resale (e.g. large tears, severe stains, irreparable zippers, etc.).

  • A clear discrepancy compared to what was described in the lot (for example, a different category than the one purchased).

Important: In second-hand clothing, minor imperfections or normal wear (pilling, small stains, colour variations, wrinkles, minor loose threads, etc.) are not considered defects if they are consistent with the nature of the product and the stated grade.

3) Timeframe to report issues

Issues must be reported within 5 days of receiving the order.
After this period, acceptance of the claim cannot be guaranteed.

4) How to request a return/refund

The customer must provide:

  • Order number

  • List of affected garments (quantity and type)

  • Clear photos of the defect (and if possible, a general photo of the garment and a close-up)

  • Brief explanation of the issue

5) Issue resolution

After reviewing the information, Vintage4Originals may offer (depending on the case and availability):

  • Partial refund / partial reimbursement for the affected items, or

  • Credit note for future purchases, or

  • Replacement (if applicable and equivalent stock is available)

In lot purchases, issues are normally handled as a partial solution (only for the affected garments), not as a full lot return, except in exceptional cases.

6) Non-accepted cases

Returns or refunds are not accepted for:

  • Personal preferences (taste, style, rotation, demand, “not what I expected”).

  • Size variations typical of vintage and second-hand clothing.

  • Washed, altered, handled, or resold garments.

  • When less than 5% of the order is affected.

  • Normal signs of wear consistent with the “second-hand/vintage” category.
