By the piece, by the kilo or handpicking: which suits you
Three ways to buy. None is better than the others: it depends on how much control you want over the contents and how much time you can put in.
Comparison
By the piece
- Cost: from the price on each product page.
- Control over contents: medium. You choose the category or brand, not the specific item.
- Risk: low. You know how many items you'll receive and of what type, backed by the 90/10 rule.
- Time: minimal. You buy, it arrives and you list it for sale.
- Best for: people starting out and people restocking who want to keep it simple.
By the kilo
- Cost: from the price on each product page.
- Control over contents: low. You buy volume by category, not hand-chosen items.
- Risk: higher. You get a bit of everything and need to know what to do with the slower sellers.
- Time: the highest. You have to sort, photograph and list a lot more volume.
- Best for: people who already have a well-oiled system and can handle processing volume.
Handpicking
- Cost: from the price on each product page.
- Control over contents: total. You choose every single item.
- Risk: the lowest. If you chose it, there are no surprises.
- Time: high upfront. You need to come to the warehouse or book the video call.
- Best for: shops and sellers with a very defined audience who can't afford rejects.
Who each one is for
By the piece is for you if you want predictability. You know which category or brand you'll receive, and the lot arrives ready to list. It's the natural way in and the way to restock without spending an afternoon on it. See lots by the piece.
By the kilo is for you if you already sell confidently and your bottleneck is cost per item, not time. Here the unit cost goes down, but you get a bit of everything: you need to sort quickly and clear what doesn't sell. See lots by the kilo.
Handpicking is for you if you sell to a specific audience and can't afford rejects. You come to our Bétera warehouse or we do it by video call, and you get exactly what you selected. How handpicking works.
What's the same in all three
- At least 90% of the lot is Grade A; the 10% is the maximum limit for possible faults, not a quota. If it exceeds 10%, we compensate you on your next order.
- The minimum order is the one shown on each product page.
- We prepare your order within 24 business hours and you receive it in 24-48h in mainland Spain. Free shipping within Spain on orders over €600; for the rest of Europe, the cost is calculated at checkout based on weight and destination.
- Prices include VAT and the invoice can be downloaded from your order.
